Background:

Mr. Fong has very strong industrial and academic experience in marketing and strategic management.

Mr. Fong had been Senior Consultant at Response Direct Marketing for more than 2 years before he joined Microsoft as Marketing Director from 1992 to 1997.

Mr. Fong then joined the Infopro Group leading the International Business Division. In 1999, Mr. Fong joined Wherever Telecom (US) as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing.

In 2000, Mr. Fong became the General Manager of MediaRing (a Singapore listed company) Hong Kong responsible for developing business and strategic alliance in Greater China area.

From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Fong was the General Manager and Chief Editor of Harvard Business Review (Taiwan).  Since September 2006, Mr. Fong has been designing and teaching Strategy and Marketing courses for EMBA programs at Helsinki School of Economics and Swiss Business School.

Since 2006, Mr. Fong has designed and delivered strategy, marketing and branding executive programs for highly successful companies like TSMC, ITRI, MSI, Chailease Group, PTI, AUO, Fubon Banking Group, WPI Group, AIT Group, Eli Lilly, Acer, hTC, Global Unichip, GiantPlus, 101 Building, Midea Group (China), Nutricia (China), AnTai Banking, Honsec Investment, Business Week, Taiwan Mobile Group, VisEra Technology, Lextar, and Xintech, General Mills (HK and Taiwan), WPG Holding, etc.

His teaching skills and professional knowledge has been greatly recognized by many of the highly successful multinational corporations. Since 2011, he has received the “Excellent Instructor Award” from TSMC for five consecutive years.
